1999 History

Again this year no games were played in Atlanta but the club grew considerably. Players and supporters Alp Oran, David Croft, and Nigel Packer joined the squad and Qualcomm, Inc. became our first sponsor and were rewarded witheir logo on the back of our first set of team jumpers. The now infamous “bumble bees” jumpers of green and gold hoops were purchased.

The team went to Mt Airy NC where ex Fitzroy & Swans star now Sydney Swans coach lead a skills course  hosted by the Sth Carolina Hawks. Roos umpired that game. The team also went o the Nationals and the Nashvile Grand Final Festival.
